Falling Skies tells the story of the aftermath of an alien invasion. It follows a group of survivors who must band together in order to fight back against the invading aliens. The group, known as the 2nd Mass, is led by history professor Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) who, while in search of his son, must put his extensive knowledge of military history into practice as one of the leaders of the resistance movement. Jessy plays the recurring role of “Karen Nadler“, a civilian turned motorcycle scout, caught in “love at war” trying to survive the battles between aliens and humans.
December 4th’s trip to La Hacienda orphanage in Baja Mexico was a holiday success!!! Monkey bars were hung on, soccer balls were flying and faces were painted. Volunteers brought down a whole lot of holiday cheer as well as everyday necessities like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, food, tooth paste and hugs. This past Saturday’s trip brought so much joy and so many smiles to both the children and volunteers. It also brought much awareness to the current conditions of the home; the amount of repairs and support that is needed is significant.
